My name is Emmanuelle, I am a microbial ecologist, a science writer and editor with 15 years of professional experience as a scientist in Australia. I have published 24 articles in 15 different journals, including as first author in Nature Communications. In 2023, I launched manuscribe to focus on scientific writing and editing, and to help life scientists (early-career or otherwise) communicate their findings in the most compelling fashion.
Credentials
My track-record is a testament to my expertise in life sciences (biology, ecology, genetics, biochemistry, evolution, etc).
I am a member of the Australasian Medical Writers Association (AMWA), I am internationally accredited by the Board of Editors in the Life Sciences (BELS), and I am a professional member of the Institute of Professional Editors (IPEd), where I sit in the Special Interest Group for Academic Editors.

I never use artificial intelligence software (e.g., ChatGPT) to write or edit for you. My clients' documents are viewed and handled by myself and no one else. This means that your writing and therefore your data remain completely confidential and will never be used by any entity, human or otherwise, until you are ready to publish.
In other words, you remain in total control of the science and knowledge you want to communicate.
